great choice of colors and point of view!

The whole scene seems so full of life.. nice work.
The slightely monotone color palette reminds me of an aged photography from times long ago.
I especially like how you did the guy in the green jacket and the one with the checkered shirt.

I think the perspective *might* be a bit wobbly- mainly with the fire escape landings (or whatever those things are called) up in the top left hand corner. To me, they look side-by-side, rather than one behind the other. And I think the umbrella is different to the hotdog stand? I'm not sure. Feel free to forget what I've just prattled about if I'm wrong- I don't know much about perspective at all.
Thumbs up, Patato! Colour and lighting are great (I just love the whole 'snapshot of the street' slight monotone style here- sorry if that doesn't make sense) and a lot of the people in the crowd look real. The two guys with checker shirts look like photos- it's great!
And I think I can safely say that many people here have never been to NY either, so I think you're safe.

CityRose - The perspective may be wobbly, because everything was done by hand, without the use of a ruler and proper measurements. I did this to achieve a funky hand-made look, where my also wobbly animated characters (because of my lack of figure practice) would sit right as a cohesive style. (if i ever got to animation).
I see what you mean about the fire escapes looking side-by-side, you kind of get that illusion. But if you follow the lines of the floors to their vanishing point, maybe you can understand the structure like i intended.
Thank you for the constructive crits!
